​ The night of 19 December 2025 is something I will probably never forget. I have already written an article on this subject earlier. This write-up is intended to share another aspect of that medical journey and some related experiences which may perhaps be of some use to heart patients and their families. What I initially considered to be a routine health issue turned out to be a heart attack. Circumstances unfolded in such a way that on the very same day, Dr. Shubham Singhal performed an angioplasty on me in Agra, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that he saved my life. During that angioplasty, it was also discovered that there were serious blockages in other coronary arteries. The doctors felt that treating the remaining blockages at the same time could be somewhat risky, and therefore that part of the treatment was deferred for a later date. ​ 19 दिसंबर 2025 की वह रात मैं शायद कभी नहीं भूल सकता। इस विषय पर मैं पहले भी एक लेख लिख चुका हूँ। यह लेख उस चिकित्सा यात्रा के एक अन्य पक्ष तथा उससे जुड़े कुछ अनुभवों को साझा करने के लिए लिख रहा हूँ, जिससे शायद हृदय रोगियों और उनके परिजनों को कुछ लाभ मिल सके। जिसे मैं सामान्य अस्वस्थता समझ रहा था, वह हार्ट अटैक निकला। परिस्थितियाँ ऐसी बनीं कि उसी दिन आगरा में डॉक्टर शुभम् सिंघल ने मेरी एंजियोप्लास्टी की और यह कहना अतिशयोक्ति नहीं होगी कि उन्होंने मेरी जान बचाई। उस एंजियोप्लास्टी के दौरान यह भी पता चला कि हृदय की अन्य धमनियों में भी गंभीर ब्लॉकेज हैं। डॉक्टरों की राय थी कि शेष ब्लॉकेज का इलाज उसी समय करना कुछ जोखिमपूर्ण हो सकता है, इसलिए उसे भविष्य के लिए टाल दिया गया। इसके बाद कई जाँचें हुईं, जिनमें थैलियम स्ट्रैस टेस्ट प्रमुख था। इन जाँचों के आधार पर यह लगा कि  यद्यपि समस्या तीन आर्टरीज़ में रुकावट की थी, फिर भी शायद ओपन हार्ट सर्जरी के बजाय एंजियोप्लास्टी द्वारा ही उसका इलाज  किया जा सकता है। आखिरकार मैंने गुड़गाँव स्थित मेदांता मेडिसिटी अस्पताल में डॉक्टर प्रवीण चंद्रा जी ...
